General Experience
As part of my disputes practice in India, I undertook arbitration cases, including international arbitrations, on behalf of clients in India. These were ad hoc arbitrations, as well as institutional arbitrations under the auspices of the Indian Council of Arbitration.
At my previous company (Abu Dhabi National Energy Company PJSC (TAQA)), I had handled multiple arbitrations on behalf of my company. These were institutional arbitrations (at SIAC) as well as adhoc. Three of these arbitrations resulted in an award in favour of my company.
I was closely involved on all aspects in these arbitrations, namely, arbitration strategy, drafting pleadings, leading factual and expert evidence, procedural matters for the conduct of the arbitration, preparing senior counsels for the hearing as well as on enforcement and challenges to the arbitration awards.
